Ah Yuan soaps are made with pristine water from springs in Yangmingshan National Park, edible oils (olive and coconut), and locally grown medicinal plants, including chrysanthemums, tealeaves, lemon, mugwort and patchouli. The company's soaps are truly all natural, and contain no chemical additives, like surfactants.

The production of each handmade bar of Yuan soap requires an 18-step 45-day process. Everything from growing and harvesting the plants, extracting the water, pouring the oil, mixing, forming, cold saponifying, extracting the soap from the molds, and air-drying it for 45 days to cutting and stamping the finished product is done by hand. The company never adds paraffin to speed the hardening process, and never uses machines.

The soaps have medicinal properties, Ah Yuan invests real time and effort in their development. Chiang himself has a solid understanding of both Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and acupuncture, in part as a result of his family background-his great grandfather and great uncle were both TCM doctors and his grandfather was an herbalist.

In addition to working with organic growers all over Taiwan, Yuan has established its own farms. After acquiring its first farm in Jinshan, the company leased three hectares of terraces in Yangmingshan National Park in 2008. It now grows a variety of medicinal plants, herbs, and wildflowers, including tea-oil camellia, lemon, mulberry, guava, mugwort, lantana, and patchouli, on land there that had been lying fallow for 20 years.

Tips & Caution:

1. All masks should be applied to a freshly cleaned face, rinsed with warm water. This helps to open up the pores and allows the mask essence to penetrate easily into the skin.

2. Excess essence from the packaging may be applied on the neck by massage.

3. After 15 to 20 minutes, remove mask and gently massage face to assist absorption. Rinsing is not required.

4. You may apply toner or moisturizer after application to help locking in the nutrients.

5. Use daily for maximum effect.

6. Never apply mask product if your skin encounters problems such as pimple, eczema, inflammation, sunburns, wounds, swelling, shedding or sore.

7. Try and test the mask on your hand if you have sensitive skin before applying it to your face. Wait for 24 hours to make sure that there are no adverse effects.

8. Avoid direct contact with the eyes. Store masks in room temperature and avoid direct sunlight exposure.

9. It is normal for first time users or dried skin users to experience a light rash or tingling feeling as penetration of mask essence into skin will cause the effect. If symptoms continue for several times, please stop using it.

10. Use soon after opening.

第一次敷面膜有稍微刺痛的感觉有几个可能性

仿冒知名面膜不肖商人牟暴利

愛在網路購買面膜眼膜的民眾得小心，可能買到黑心假貨，刑事局逮捕兩名嫌犯，他們涉嫌向中國網購仿冒「我的美麗日記」面膜、眼膜，在台灣網站，以假亂真，低價販賣，警方估計至少有數百名買家受騙，因為用了黑心面膜感覺不適才揭露。

2千多片，「我的美麗日記」面膜、眼膜堆滿桌，這些都是不肖嫌犯從中國網路購買來的黑心仿冒品，嫌犯透過網拍網站兜售，每片進價成本4塊錢，卻用15元的價格賣出，轉手賺進2、3倍的暴利，銷售半年來，數百人貪便宜購買，部分使用後感到不適，才報案揭露。

黑心面膜商品外觀更是以假亂真，如何分辨，假貨流水號碼每片都相同，真貨每片都不同，還有封口假貨很平整，至於真貨封口印成格子狀，警方提醒辨認技巧，別一時貪便宜，在網路上購買來路不名的面膜，免得損錢又傷身。

破獲黑心面膜網站賣家已知數百人受害

統一集團熱賣的「我的美麗日記面膜」，在網路上出現大量黑心仿冒品，造成女性消費者受害，出現刺痛等不適症狀。刑事局偵七隊警方今天掃蕩涉案的網路賣家，除了逮捕李姓、嚴姓兩嫌，也搜出兩千多片的贓物。嫌犯供稱，他們是透過大陸網站低價取得面膜，再賣給台灣消費者從中牟取暴利。警方初步估計，已經有數百名買家被騙上當。（杜大澂報導）

刑事局大廳堆放一盒盒的「我的美麗日記面膜」，沒有專家提醒，消費者還真的分不出真偽，其實這都是來自大陸的黑心面膜，使用過後會有刺痛感，甚至造成臉上的傷害。

警方指出，「我的美麗日記面膜」，是由統一藥品生產，只透過指定的通路鋪貨，不過，因為爆紅讓不肖業者起了歹念，從大陸淘寶網低價取得面膜之後，透過拍賣網站販售。

要如何分辨？刑事局偵七隊二組長吳東文表示，真面膜每一片不會是相同序號，而且壓邊要有格紋。

警方發現，歹徒取得的黑心面膜，每片成本只有七塊錢，卻以十五元賣出，賺取一倍的暴利，初步估計，已經有數百名消費者受害上當。
